I'm currently in the market for a set of 33's and couldn't help but notice Pro Comp is having a buy 3 get 1 free sale. They jacked up the price per tire but you still save a good amount. A set of 33x12.50 a/t's is $500. The only problem is, is that they dont look all to aggresive in the pictures provided. I was planning on running BFG's. Anyone have some reviews on Pro comps. Mostly lookin for good deep snow and mud performance. Any opinions?

The Pro-comp At's are a great street tire. Snow, Ice and light trail. Notice...STREET TIRE.
I ran the Mt's and loved them. I'd put the At's on my new Taco. It's barely going off road for years(till paid for)

I went to 4wheel parts to inquire about the pro comp ats and I will never go there again! First, I went in and got a quote for 4 285/75/16s which was $667. Then they told me that if I waited a week they were having the buy 3 get 1 free sale. So, I went in a week later and the same guy quoted me $750 for the same tires! He told me that corporate jacked the price up on the tires for the sale so it was actually more expensive to buy them on sale. I told him what a scam this was and let him know that I would let other know as well. I am now looking into BFG AT/KOs, Destination ATs, General Grabber AT2s. Good luck......

Not everything but most of what I've read about ProComp tires hasn't been all that good. I'm going with a set of Cooper STTs this summer.

I think that you can't go wrong as far as performance of a BFG, but they are expensive, and they are the ugliest A/T on the market(in my opinioin)

I've had bad experience with the BFG At's. They hydroplane badly on wet and slushy roads. But keep in mind, I'm talking about Cnetral New York weather. Heavy, heavy rain, poor drainage and 2-4'' of slush.
I've never heard a complaint in other regions.

you might try looking into conti trac m/t tires. i've got a few friends that have had them and they said they are a really good tire for the price. but if i was buying new tires i would probly go with a bfg m/t or a/t but that's just me.

Mastercraft MTs are great for the mud and ride smooth and aren't hardly noisy, the only problem is that i have a harder time stopping in really wet weather than with my old BFG rugged trails

out of the at's, my favorite are the cooper st, the stt's are prolly too much for what you're looking for, but the st's have done great for me. they wear really good, and do very good offroad, and they'er pretty sticky on the street. the look the best too!!! lol mock1
