I am currently running 35/12.50 BFA/T's ate the moment but seems like when they touch the mud they turn into a slick tire. There awesome on the road and there also awesome for spending the night in the woods ! I am wanting to get a set of 35/10.50 boggers.I want to know more about boggers, i have ran TSL's and i loved em but i want a more aggressive look. Does anyone have experience with these tires? Ive heard skinny tires work way better in mud vs. a wide tire. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

boggers are definately more agressive than tsl's are and way better tire offroad than those bfg's you got. I disagree with the skinny tires working better in the mud. I personally think it's the other way around, wider tires will give you more traction and weight distribution so you won't sink as much. the disadvantage to wider tires is that it's gunna be harder on everything such as steering and drivetrain (you'll be more likely to break stuff). I would recommend that you go with a 12.50 as you are currently running them. Don't know what else you want to know about them they're a great tire (i'm saving up for a set) but have fun.

Boggers are as good as they get for mud. They will plug if the mud has enough clay in it but they clean themselves better then any M/T ever could. As far as skinny vs wide there is two trains of thought. Both have merit depending on the offroad conditions. With a tall and skinny tire you sink quickly through the muck down to more substantial terra where more grip may be available. The problem is if the bottom is too soft you just sink. A wider tire will float better keeping on top and going foward. It works great as long as you have momentum. When starting from a stop the distributed tire pressure actually allows the tire to slip easier in wet conditions. So basically if the mud in your area is superficial the skinny tire is probably the better way to go, but if it runs deep the wider tire is the better bet. Even a 44" bogger will get stuck if the muck is soft enough.

I used to have the same 35 x 12.50 BFG A/T tires and you are definitely right about them caking up full of crap when off road. Mine would just look like a giant ball of dirt giving me no traction when off road.
I wore those out and have since switched to the BFG mud terrains in the same 35 x 12.50 size and the difference is night and day. the mud terrains are awesome on the road, in the sand, mud, dirt and what not off road. They clean themselves out really well, don't seem to be too prone to trail damage (sidewalls and tread are holding up pretty good), etc.
Boggers are probably a good choice too. There are a lot of good tires out there for the mud that will be much better than the A/T's. Anything with a big open tread will be better in the mud.
As for width there are a lot of differing opinions on that.

boggers and all terrains are 2 different animals. hell a bfg and a bogger are so different. the bogger is prolly the best street legal mud tire.
