I have the regular TSLs, but according to friends, the SSRs are great and more onroad friendly.

If you stepped up to 36's, how worried do you have to be about birfields, axle shafts etc... If you just went with TSL's, how many miles are people getting out of them. My bud has 33 BFG MT's and has had them for over 4 years with only minor wear. I have had Nitto sport tires on previous trucks that had to be replaced every year due to the soft compound. Also, with the TSL's on your 4Runner Fourwd1, are they more than 12.50's and do you have any issues with rubbing on the frame when you are flexed out or have you put on different axles or spacers?

I have been Driving a 1991 Toyota Pick-Up with SSR 33/12.50's for a while now I am about to buy some TSL's since I bought a new truck and this one will be come my offroad truck, but I was VERY impressed with the SSR's. My friend has TSL's and I could go anywhere he did.
