i have some black simulated bead locks that are 8.5 wide. and am wondering if 36 13.5 iroks are too wide?

no. i have 39.5 iroks and they are on some 8 inch rims. they will wear in the middle unless u drop the pressure a lot in the tires.

I am running 33x13.5 LTB's on a 8in rim, they will fit, just as rockcrawlintoy said, they will wear in the middle

Depends on what you intend to use the rig for. For offroad, it would be a perfect match. For street use, the air pressure will have to be closly adjusted to prevent uneven wear. IROKs seem to have a very wide CS and make it more dificult to mount on skinny wheels for street use.

Check the fine print on the side wall. Interco specifies the rim width on some (maybe all) of it's tires. For example, my 36-12.50 Swampers are "specified" for 8" rims.

Depends on the purpose. For offroad, it will be a great match up. For street, they may wear the center out.
