if i do a torsion bar lift, would it be a good idea to put new shocks on it, and if so what do you guys reccomend

Well, here is the deal with crankin your torsion bars. Your not adding any length to the travel of your a-arms under compression or extension. They are still gonna bottom out in the same spots your just removing extension and adding compression to the travel. Your not gaining anything except the height at which the a-arms ride. Therefore the shocks are gonna have the same amount of travel in them but are going to be extended more all the time. So i would say no your not going to need longer shocks. At least thats how i think about it.

;D I'm w/you, Snorkle. The stops limit how much you can go either way. If you want to gain anything on the IFS, you'll ned to modify the bumpstops. Be VERY careful!!!!! The inner joints are VERY sensitive to travel mods. Carry one(or three) with you to be sure. Later...
