I want to put a 3" body lift on my 88 pickup. Do the kits come with everything needed or are there going to be other hidden costs when I do this. Anybody have any kits they recommend.

Nope everything should be right there unless you lose stuff!!! Its not to awful bad puttin one on! Look at settin a weekend aside for it and a few ppl and a case or two of beer! But other then that its pretty self explanitory. I ordered mine from national tire and wheel out of west va. They are a pretty good busilness up there they are runnin. Very straight forward! Good luck man.

Hey do you have you r 33x12.50 on 15x10 wheels? If so what backspacing are you using and do they rub?

Yea im on 15x10's and no they didnt rub, but there was possiblities of rubbing eventually with torsion bar wear. So i pounded the fender seam in quite a bit, cant tell from lookin at it! I really dont know what back spacing my wheels are, i know its rather small i think cause the tires only stick out about 2.25 inches or so! I ordered my wheels and tires from www.desertrat.com in a tire and wheel package for 950. And that included mounting, balancing, gorrila lug nuts, wheel locks, center caps, tax and shipping! I wish i could help you more on that backspacing tho!

just remember to save the rubber bushings already on there or else you'll bottom out the nuts on the threads. I think you have to cut the metal pieces off them too.

20/21 it dont matter! got less then a month to go and then all the hooplah is over with. If you go to roger browns site, he gives you an analysis of how you put your body lift on and what order your bushing, spacer, and washers go. I just saw how it came off and put the spacer in between. When you get down to doin it, it will be real easy, you really shouldnt run into any problems! If you do, just take a step back and think about things and i will all work out for ya! Just remember to use the good ol locktite! I didnt on my bumper brackets and the bolts backed themselfs almost all the way out one day! After you run up about 500-1000 miles or so just take a few min and re-torque all the bolts! It should go together real easy!

:(Can anyone let me know how to make or find a 4"-5" body lift for a 1998 tacoma 4x4. I have the 3" body lift on my truck now but just looking for a cheap way to lift a few more inches. Also I have a set of 33" pro comp xterrain tires for sale if any body wants them cheap. Let me know. Thanks.

A 3" B/L is about the most that you'll want to go. Any more then that and you'll start putting stress on the frame unless you plan on doing only flat lander driving with it. Plus it will be more top heavy by lifting the body vs doing a S/L.

thats where youd start into extending stuff and hardware trips, plus it would look horrible. Cant you buy 2 or 3 in lifts pretty cheap anyway??
