Im seriously considering doing the rear 63" chevy spring swap in the rear, but i am just curious, why cant you do the same thing in the front? weld new rear front spring hangers on? would it be too much arch? or would it hang down too much? i was just curious because it seems to be an incredibly cheap way to lift and gain major articulation.

You could add chevy's in the front. Never seen it done so I don't know how it would be. The chevy's dont give much lift but do flex pretty good. You might have to build up your front perch and use longer shackles to get the lift you want out of em.

You'd have to weld new front hangers on, about 11" in front of your truck ;D Your talking about replacing 46" springs with 63" springs, where did you think all the extra length was going to go?
