Why would you want 3" for light off road? Get one locker and stick with 31's. Lol....... I'd get a nosebleed on 6" pucks! ;D

I hope you're kididng about the 6inch lift, I know that 6 is way too much, that's way too tippy for me
As for me wanting the 3 inch lift, right now with 31s I rub every once and a while when I turn the wheel too hard, and when I have time to see some trails, the wheels rub there too. I do not want to crank the T-Bars, because I don't want the rough ride on the freeway. 3inch seems like an option because I don't have the money for a suspension lift. Also I like the way a truck looks lifted. Plus my ex-girlfriend hated that I got bigger tires on my truck and didn't want me to get a lift and by getting a lift it's like I'll show her(she dumped me, whole other story)

a 3" lift would be perfect for 31's. i have a 3" lift and i run 31's with no rubbing

i have had 3" body lifts on every truck i have owned , its a cheap way to clear bigger tires, and thats about it i have really no complaints except the frame hangs out and if you dont lift the bumpers it looks like sh*t . and you loose some of the strength of your bumpers oh yeah and you mite have to lenthen your shift linkage. i just wont have one on my yota because suspension lifts are cheap. are your tires rubbing body or frame? a body lift wont do anything if they are rubbing frame.

The tires rub on my fender. I tried to shave some of the plasic in the fender well, it helped some, but when it leans forward, it feels like the tread is going to rip right off the tire

Check out the body seam in the back of the fenderwell behind the plastic you trimmed. Pound it flat or grind it off. No more rubbin'. That was my first question on this forum back in June. ;D The following is my favorite place for info regarding this with good pics: www.brian894x4.com/33INCHTIRES.html This is a good place for info, this guy has experimented with several different buildups over a few years and he documented all of them. He now has SAS. If this guy can run 33's I'm sure you can run 31's without pucks! Also keep in mind that trucks like our's were available with 31's when new. I have had 3" b/l's before and I'm not a fan, but if I had one on my toy I would go with a tire wider than a 10.5" to offset the effects of the b/l on and offroad.

turn your t bars up a little , and drive it a while and see if the ride is stiffer than you like , a little stiffer ride would be better than rubbin a fender to me .

way too much, got with a 3 inch but you gotta get some big meats, but you can do the hockey puck thing if you don't want to spend $100
