I want to ad a lift to my daily driver, and ad larger tires. I really want 35's. I have a 1988 4x4 and IFS. Are 35's bumpy?? I don't want my truck/lift falling apart when I'm going 70 down I-5. I also know IFS is sensitive to a lot of things, would bumpy tires hurt anything that I would not expect (tie rods, tires) my main concern is stearing... I've also heard of peoples drive shaft twisting OFF because of the lift. I go offroad about 4 times a week, mostly mild mud-slinging, nothing too extreme. How much lift do I need to clear the 35's and gear ratio's?? 5.29 I guess is what I will get. What is the cheapest way to get the gears without spending an arm and a leg. Any companies make the complete setup or will I have to make my own which I know is VERY hard. As far as lift which I am sure will not be enough, 3" body and 4" suspension, I'd rather get 1" body and 6" suspension.... I just don't like the way BL's look. In the rear if I did the cheavy leaf spring swap how much lift could I get out of that?? And would that make the ride a lot smoother?
Thanks in advance Kick Ass
