Any of you guys running the BDS IFS lift? If so, what do you think. Does it really clear 35's?

I don't know anyone using this setup, but I will say BDS is a good company. They make quality products and then stand behind what they sell

I don't use it but the one shop around me recommended them over any other brand. They said they could get any lift I wanted but recommended bds because of the quality and no fine print warranty.
That being said it is the exact same type of ifs lift as any of the others. If you think you can fit 35's w/ superlift, pro-comp etc then you can fit 35's w/ the bds.
I don't think 35's will fit w/out major fender trimming or a body lift.
I ended up going with superlift becasue it BDS is only available through dealers. I didn't feel like driving the distance to the closest shop just to order and pick up the kit.

I just installed my 4" BDS lift yesterday. It is really a neat setup. I haven't even driven it yet because the body isn't done, but the lift is done. I had a 3" BL and installed the 4" to run 36's when I get my gears done. As far as the BDS company, the club I run with mainly sell the BDS lifts because they totally stand behind their products. When you buy a lift the paperwork tells you that this is intended for off road, so if you break something send it back and we replace it FREE!!! And that's tried and TRUE.

Actually bikeguy, BDS claims on thier site that you can run a 35" with their lift. This is why I am asking, but thanks for the helpful input .............. No, I wouldn't expect to clear 35's with the other IFS lifts, but they don't claim they can. Anybody know? Come on guys!

I would email or call BDS.
I went to their site again and looked at the kit. The parts "look" the same as the other kits. With similar install instructions. Could be missing something though.
Maybe the 35" is a max tire size before the parts start to break. Who knows. I'd say go straight to the source.

Well, I was hoping to get a little testamonial from an actual owner. I am always hesitant to rely on the word of the guy who is doing the selling. I'll check back later.

I know this is a little late but I do have a BDS 4" on my '94 with 33's under it. I love the lift but shop for the shocks. The shocks that came with my kit are very stiff. Until last year this was my daily driver and never had any probslems.

;D I can only say what I know: BDS uses parts off of other/different kits to create what they feel is the best/most cost effective lift for a given vehicle. I think it's a GREAT idea!! Their warranty program is second to none!! Later...
