I was thinking about putting add-a-leafs in the rear of my 86' runner....can you get 2 inches (or more) out of your torsion bars? is there going to be any more stress or possible breakage due to cranked torsion bars? ride stiffer? any special tools needed to adjust?

I would not crank em that far. stock t-bars can fail under that much stress. spend the 100 bucks and get some sway away's. totaly worth the money. u can get the height without killing the ride.

2" is the max, ride will probably be harsher, you'll loose travel in the opposite direction, no special tools needed.
