I have an '05 standard cab Tacoma w/ 4cyl 5-speed. I want to lift it about 3" and put 32 or 33" tires on 15" rims, for going to and from tree stands and some light mudding. I'm thinking about the cornfed 3" kit, with BFG T/A, and american racing 15x8 wheels. I would like to know if this is a good setup, or if I should do something else.

If you put on the 3" Cornfed lift, you should be able to get away with the 33s no problem. But, FYI, I just put on BFG 32x11.50s and have no problems with rubbing yet.
I have yet to really take them out, but on the pavement, I can cut the wheel all the way with no rubbing. They MIGHT rub a little on flex, but not much. Your '05 should be able to handle them.
