i need some advice.. i own a 99' tacoma and considering adding on a 3" revtek suspension kit but i've heard some bad things. that the cv joints cant take the 3" angle in the front and that the blocks were bad for the rear springs. can someone shed some light on this for me? thanks..

I don't know about the Revtech lift, but I know you can get a differential drop kit with the Cornfed 3" lift. Plus, the cornfed kit uses AALs (Add A Leaves) instead of blocks. For a 3" lift, that is a much better option IMO.

MIKE is %100 correct I've installed both kits and the cornfed is def a safer product the reason being that the spacer with the cornfed the bottom of the spacer will sit inside of the coil whereas the revtech only sits on top or they used too not sure if they changed anything over the last 3+ yrs since I did the install and besides cornfed has options like the dif drop spacer which makes life alot easier esp when you do the allignment not to mention the fact that there is gonna be less stress on the cv's it will bring the angle back into range

I've heard too many people compain about there spacer lifts being stiff riding. I'm going with OME. They cost a bit more but they have a better ride and better articulation from what i hear. Trying to decide witch AAL and shock to go with in the back. Not sure what height i need to go with so that the truck sits maybe .5" higher in the back.....i do a little hauling. front lift will settle out to about 2.5".

I've heard too many people compain about there spacer lifts being stiff riding. ok i know i'm just a 1st-gen-solid-axle-leaf-spring guy, but... don't spacer lifts use your stock coils? which would make the ride the same as stock, not stiffer? educate me ;D

yeah it's a truck, but i drive it every day, and not made outta money. I'm going OME lift with BFG muds, SSRs, or Terra Grapplers (if i have to stick with a 16" rim).
