I am currently transforming my 85 reg cab. I have two lift kits in mind. I am thinking about either the 7 inch skyjacker or the 5 inch skyjacker systems both with rear springs. the thing i am wondering about is, if i go with the 7 inch will i have to extend both driveshafts? and if i go with the 5 inch are any driveshafts mods neccessary??? any help would be much appreciated.

why sp much lift. The 7 inch skyjackers are brutally stiff. the 5 inch ones are not as bad. u are prolly lookin at some drive line mods after 5 inches. why not look inot the marlin crawler springs

The 7" susp is a bit much, and will have a harsh ride, and a high COG.
Around 4-5" of lift will mean longer drivelines and x-over steering.
