I have a '99 Tacoma regular cab 4X4 I want to lift. I only do a little off-roading so this would mainly be for looks. I'd like to put 32" or 33" tires on it. What type, size, and brand lift would you suggest? I have no modifications to my truck as of yet. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can also try Toytech spacers.

I would say fabtech. I have the 3.5 adjustable lift which is easy to install and also not bad on price. This lift you chose how much lift you want instead of a 2" or 3" lift but don't go over 3" due to you will not be able to get your front end set right. Good luck.

The cheapest easiest way for you to go would be a coil spacer for up front and your choice of either block(not recomended), add-a-leaf, or shackles. I would assume you can get about 2.5 inches for under 300 bucks easily. I havent checked out any lifts for taco's cause i dont own one, but anything is springs up front is easier to lift then the torsion bars are. Just my 0.02! As for tires i would def go with some good all terain tires. It sounds like you really arent into the whole 4x4 thing all the time. So look around for whatever yoru wallet can handle and get a decent all terrain like the BF Goodrich. There are tons of brands out there, so really the best thing for you to do is look around on the internet here and find something that appeals to you and your wallet!

Also whichever lift you decide on make sure you get a front dif drop spacer kit otherwise you will have a hard time getiing the allignment back into spec the only two places I know that have these are Cornfed Suspensions and Roger Brown's 4crawler
