Hi guys. I wanted to know if anyone could let me know that if by adding a spacer to a 3.5" fabtech basic adjustable lift would hurt my front end. I would like to add a 2" spacer up front on my tacoma to get a little more lift. I have my lift set a 3" right now. If I could only do 1" I guess I would go with that then if it would work. I just don't have over a thousand dollars to buy a 6" lift and another $1,500 to have it put on so I am trying to figure out a way to lift up my front end. By the way my Tacoma is a Prerunner. If anyone could let me know of some good spacer to use and a web site to get them that would be really cool. Thanks for any help posted for me.

I don't think that is a good idea. When you add top spacers, you will over extend the ball joints and pretty much ruin them as well as strike your spindles on your coil springs. A 2" spacer on a stock coilover is not good either. Instead of adding preload to the coil, your simply moving the whole assembly down by 'X' inches.

look at a total chaos lift they will have new and longer arms and it replaces the ball joints with uni balls. its a much better design
