I have an 88 yota. I also have dana 44 front and rear axles sitting in my yard. I would like to swap the front dana onto my yota, is this a difficult swap? Would it be a good idea to swap both 44's under my rig? I've heard that toyota rear axles are better than 44's...

the dana 44 is a pretty easy swap i did it on my truck. keep the toy rear end. sky manufacturing makes a nice kit for the dana 44 also high angle drive line makes a danan 44 /toy flange thats is worth the money for the driveline

KEEP THE TOYOTA REAR. THE ONLY THING IS YOUR LUG PATTERNS FROM FRONT TO REAR WILL BE DIFFERENT.

i went to a mud drag a couple years ago and a guy was there runnin a yota with a small block with nos and he had a ford 9" end and yota front end, both had 4:88's. i have heard that the toyota rear is weaker than the front.
