I have heard of an IFS kit called Total Chaos. It's supposed to give 12" of vertical wheel travel. I'd like more flex and don't really want to do a SAS. Has anybody had any expeience with this kit?

Their stuff is way cool but also way expensive about the same cost as an SAS

Long travel IFS is for desert use. It utilizes dampening when air born at high speed.(sand running, dune hopping). It doesn't give you contact pressure when "crossed up". This also F's with the cv's badly due to the angles. They can reach the angle, but can't handle power applied to them. All depends on what you are trying to achieve.

yeh I've decided to go with this kit. It's the next thing on the list.....since the axles are extended I would use T100 axles with it. Wouldn't these stronger/longer axles up front eliminate the CV problem?

The angles are not as extreme, with the same travel, when you have longer A-arms and axles.
