Its gonna rub when you turn but should not be to bad but if it is put a 2 inch body lift on it. Dont forget if you dont put gears in it, its not Worth the time

Good luck, Tacomas need roughly 5-6 inches to truly clear 33x12.5 tires. 35's on 4 in lift won't do you any good offroad as your articulation will be limited if not erased.

Is his 90 model a tacoma? I have saw quite a few the same body style as my 86 still with ifs that have 4" lift and 33' that look like they got room for 35's but will need a bit of trimming to keep the tires out of the fenders. I also was planning on 5.29 gears and just a rear spool.

His post says it's a 90 4Runner
Can't you all read ??
A Taco is a pickup, and didn't come out untill 95.
You can fit 35's with 4" of lift and a little cutting of sheet metal. But they'll still rub at times.
Better to go with a little more susp lift or add a BL too.

only one who makes a body lift for an auto is 4crawler www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/BodyLiftKit.shtml but if i was you i would put the tires on maybe do a little fender trimming and see if you could make it work to save some cash and keep the cog low but then again i'm just anal about my cog.

I run a 3" body, when my tires were new it rubbed a lil, but only sometimes.

if you wanted, you could add the 4in lift with some bushwacker cut out flares, that way, youd have the room, and youd be legal
