Okay i have an 85 toyota. 7" skyjacker lift, 3" body lift, 40" tsl's (yeah its a show truck). Im thinking of putting 2" lift shackles on it and i was wondering if the steering arm i have on it now that i bought would still work? I had to make the balls on it point out instead of in when i put it in.
I also have 7" lift shocks (skyjacker shocks) and was wondering if the shocks would be okay with the additional couple inches of lift.
Also about the sway bar, I had to make custom sway bar links when i bought the skyjacker lift because it didnt come with it. I just got some tubing and some of that "make your own bolt" things at home depot (the really long threaded rods) and cut them to the right size. Will i have to make longer ones agin?
Just making sure so i dont mess anything up:)

If you drive that thing on the street (or anywhere else) and still have stock steering, you need to get a crossover steering system. It will solve your problems.

on my 4runner i went with longer shackles all the way around (about 2in's). the steering arm should still work. if you have money put a crossover steering like fourwd1 said. when i get the money i'm getting it. it looks better on a show truck anyways!! as for the shocks they will work! as for the sway bar set up sounds geto but if it works and looks good cool!! just my $.02! do you still have the factory torque rod on the truck.
