Hi guys, i have a 2003 hilux with IFS, the problem i have is ive got some new tyres wich are 32" and there a tight fit as the truck is standard ! , no do you recomend a body lift(if thats possible) or a suspension lif? . I would say i only need about an extra 2-3" lift on the front , the back is ok as theres loads of clearence.
Thanks Greg

It really depends on what you are going to do with the truck. a lot of people hate body lifts, personally if you are on a budget and plan to stay on the street or just in flat mud BL are fine. suspension lifts for your truck will be expensive. you can get 1.5" out of cranking up your torsion bars and maybe balljoint spacers on the front, that should get you the room to clear the 32". with out trimming your body you may experince some rubs too

A BL will give you room for a little larger tire. A suspension lift for the front only is possible also, and will make the truck sit level. A combination of both works too,

It all depends on what you are doing.. myself.. i have had my truck for about a year and all its got is a body lift till after this summer.. it has been great.. as long as you install it the correct way.... (very easy to work on) and another thing to concider.. if you ever get headers or need to pull the engine or tranny..( if you are doing it that is) you will have that extra room to move around and get to bolts easier...
