if i already have the torsions bars cranked right up and extended shackeles on the rear could i just use some ball joint spacers on the front and some blocks on the back? im not looking for a huge lift. but would that change the angles of my front axles to much that they would bind and how bout my shocks would i have to get longer ones? is this even a good idea?

Un-crank the t-bars, get some BJ spacers. if you need to. You could add a small block (1-2").

that will drop the front end though. so if i have extended shackeles and add-a-leafs and 1 to2" blocks how do i level out the front end? and how bout longer shocks? or do you think i can get away with the ones i already have?

Why a suspension lift rather than a body lift? None of these suggestions will improve the front end performance. With a body lift, (small 2'') NOTHING needs to be done to the shocks, springs or driveshaft angles. The shackle lift would help the ass end articulate better, but you will need to lengthen the rear shocks and possibly the brake line and the brake balancer.

Un-crank the t-bars and go w/BJ spacers. Cranking t-bars isn't a good way to lift the front, it gives you a much harsher ride and you loose travel (what you gain in height you loose in the opposite direction; you can't get something for nothing). Then use what ever to make the rear match the front.

Ok with a body lift what all needs to be done (ie longer steering shaft, cables, wires, etc.?) that also does not increase the ground clearance and makes the center of gravity higher. i might do that if it come down to it as im not lookin for a huge lift. but ya with those cranked t bars the ride is extremely harsh. is there a stock setting for the t bars or is kinda just guess and check as to how tight they should be? what about softening up the rear as those AAL's really make the ride harsh but there is probably not much i can do with that right?

"Ok with a body lift what all needs to be done"
What tire size are you planning on running?
As far a brake lines, they will stretch (coils off master cylinder) Ground wire gets lengthened with a metal strap or take the time to replace the ground wire with a longer one.(much better)
Watch the fuel tank filler hose. It should be AOK.
Steering gets an extension at the box end. (do not slide in very well, but work)
In general no bigger than a 2'' BL. Very simple, just take your time and lift slowly. I stopped and looked the truck over with EVERY pump of the jack. Also a week before starting the job, I sprayed the bolts with rust breaker every day. I did a thorough inspection of the truck before starting, to see what could possibly get stretched or broken, then watched them constantly while lifting. Went nice. One man job, took me about 5hrs thanks to Labatts Blue Light. There were some intentional breaks

"makes the center of gravity higher" ANY lift, any height, suspension or body, will raise the center of gravity of the truck. A BL will affect the c.o.g. less than a full suspension lift at the same height.

ha ha thanks 94cnytoy but i might have to take breaks due to kokanee. but what did you use for the spacers or did you just buy the kit? i heard of using hockey pucks. i mean i was only looking for about 2" of lift anyway. but another question how did it make it look i mean ive seen body lifts where it looks horribly cause there is so much clearance between the frame and the cab etc. and also what do i do with the bumpers and engine and stuff as obviously they do not get lifted to? thanks a bunch.

I would personally order threw 4crawler and add in the poly bushings. He makes a great kit and the bushings make the ride better.
