Trying to get info on putting a 20r head on a22r block.I have the 20r on the 86 22r block head bolt pattern no problem but the timeing chain is abig problem i know there are different lengths of timeing chains two atleast ones to short ones to long .can anyone help? this is suppose to turn the 22 into areal screamer

thanks for info if i shave head to these spec what timeing chain setup should i use. the stock 86 kit

YES.
Also if you'd like to do a cam up-grade your best bet would be a TRD cam or you could get a stage 2 cam from www.lcengineering.com. Also remember to get new rocker arms otherwise your old ones may wear unevenly on the cam and cuz it not to run right.
