Has anyone used Mazda leaf springs on their rear suspension? Were they 4x4 or 4x2 springs? I found some 4x4 springs off a 2002 on craig's list and I am thinking about them. Also what about chevy springs, 63" I think. What trucks do you find them on? I just finished my 4" Long Travel Trail Gear front end(awsome flex BTW) and I need to do something about the piss-poor rear setup I have without dropping another $400 on good rear springs for now.

the chevy springs are cool . look for a 88-98 2wd truck. the 4x4 ones work too but i think they are 4 leaf plus overload while the 2wd are 3 leaf plus overload.

How well does it do with the 4x4 minus the overload spring? I want the lift and flex, but I don't want to add lift blocks to match up with my front 4+ long travel lift.

they flex well. i can always take out one leaf plus the overload. with a longer shackle u should be able to run them with out a block.
