Are S10 chevy springs any good .What models should i be looking at.? sorry if this sounds dumb but in england chevy pick ups are like rocking horse s**t..

You mean for use on the rear instead of the full size Chevy spring swap popular in the states ?
The reason they are used here is because they are cheap and easy to find in junkyards and their long length (63") means they will be very flexy.
Any longer, cheap spring could be used, the mounting points just need to be changed accordingly.

dont get me wrong ,i wanna do the rear swap and should be able to source them eventualy if only i knew whay models im looking for , when i contact junk yards over here and ask about half ton chevy leaf springs i get nowhere..any help mutch appriciated thanks Mark uk

IIRC it's 88-98 Chevy/GMC trucks, 2wd or 4wd. 4wd has an extra leaf which you typically remove.

The 3/4 ton leafs will work as well. Basically the same as the 4wd ones, just an extra leaf. But they dont need to be chevys. Take you tape measure to the junk yard and try to find some leafs in the 58-63" range.
