Hey guys, I am new to this board, but I have an issue that I have been bouncing off of TTORA and WATTORA. I have a 1999 Tacoma with the 2.7. I bought it a year ago and it already had a 6" TrailMaster lift installed with 2" shackles in the rear and 1.5" OME CO's in the front. I am running 35X12.5 BFG AT's mounted on 15X8 Welds and 4.88 gears. After driving it around for a year I have decided that the lift is just overkill for what I do with the truck. The Ideal setup for me would be 4" lift running 32X11.5's. I was trying to figure out my options and I think ideally I would like to drop it back down to stock and just add some nice CO's and UCA's. All of this seems possible (as long as I find the OE) but the only area of controversy is whether or not it is possible to weld the original or a custom crossmember back in place once the TM drop bracket is removed. I tend to think that as long as temporary crossmembers are spot welded in to keep the frame true before the TM bracket is removed, there shouldn't be a problem. Others are telling me that it just isn't going to happen. What do you guys think?

I would like to see a couple of pics of the front and the brackets. If I can see the set up as it is I might have better info for you.
