hey guys, i know it kindof a dumb question but i am clueless and trying to learn what are the different types of suspension? what is different suspension then leaf springs? if i want to swap my leaf springs for shocks and springs out what is a process and is it even possible? thanks for yall help

The basic suspension types are
leaf springs (front and/or rear) coils (front and/or rear) torsion bars (front)
Shocks are part of the any suspension system, and are basically dampers.
To answer more would require you to explain what you're talking about.

um, is there anyway to take out the leafsprings and replace it with shocks and springs?

yeah, its just i dont know what there called, from pictures iv seen on the internet it has the rear differentional attached to shocks at struts, if that helps at all

Try searching for 3-link and 4-link setups on google or somewhere I think that is probably what you are talking about.
