different catergory and i hadnt got it yet, [bare with me], rear spring up front--------- do they bolt up or do u have to move spring hangers also, i understand that some other stuff has to be done , im just hung up right there and i appreciate u talking to me about this, i have had several toys. but they all have been ifs suspension, this 81 has opened up a lot of doors for me and a lot of it looks as though i could manage doing myself, thanx again

i think the bolt in but you need to get a shorter drag link. or you need to get cross over steering

Most ppl dont know what linked suspensions are. Especially in the south where its all mostly mud. So why would you want to waste the money to do such a thing just to think you look intimidating in an 81 toyota rice burner...come on now

make the exhaust as loud as possible and put huge tires on it that will be bad ass in the south instead of spending all that money for somthing that you will never use unless you just have alot of money to put in it...thats just my oppinion but you just have to do whatever makes you happy after all it is your truck...you really would be surprised at how many ppl in the south know about link sus. around here anyway

what about the elleptical in the rear, what do ya think about that, the 1/4 and the 3/4, i get them confused, i think the one where the half leafs come off the frame in front of the axle upside down is the 1/4

my last motor build in a 87 with a small cam , stock carb, header, about 2foot of str8 pipe , and cherry bomb and dumped out in front of rear tire, it seem like the exhaust was tuned perfect, it sounded sweet, and with the 4.56`s and 31`s it would jump pretty hard and scream, but this build is going to be a lot different, thats why i am looking at every setup , getting the pro`s and con`s,,,,thanx.
