Hey you Toyota Enthusiasts... question, I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 access cab. I put the 3" RevTek lift and 285/70r17 BFG M/T's. I am getting some rub on the front tires now. Wondering, can I put a 3" body lift and eliminate the rub? Actually, can a body lift and the RevTek lift co-exsist?
I'm a cheapskate for now, so no, I do not want to remove the RevTek lift and put a newer 6" lift on it.

Sure, a BL will help some. Personally I'd do a 2" one though, they don't scream BL like a 3" one does, and less work to install typically.

only some? Any recommendations for eliminating the rub completely, outside of going back to a smaller tire?

It's hard to say, some, all, every case is different, there's a lot of variables.

I agree with fourwd1.Contact Roger Brown at 4crawler(you can use the link page on this forum)and get a 1" or 2" BL which should solve your problem.I don't think your rubbing issue is bad enough to require a 3" kit. There's a lot more involved going that extra inch. It's really not worth the effort. Most of us will use BL's but tend to use as small of one we can get away with. Another thought is.If it's just barely rubbing.Where is it rubbing at?....If it's at the pinch weld just beat it in with the BFH.If it's the frame or upper C-arm then a BL is the solution.

I believe it is just at the pinch weld. I haven't actually stopped the truck immediately when I heard the rub. I'll likely go with the BL in either case. I just want to stop the damn rub noise. Its annoying me.
