Hey Fellas and Missies, I want to say that I'm pretty happy with my Fabtech 3" performance lift with the adjustable and rebuildable coilovers. I also added an ADD-A-LEAF in the rear. 1500 bucks installed within a day by Desert Rat here in PHX, az.
Ride is superb. A little rough but it's a truck, right? The suspension is strong in cornering. Almost handles like a sportscar. After a few months of having it I feel the rear is a bit lower due to settling. I recommend going for the whole leaf pack rather than add-a-leaf. I feel you would get bettere life out of it.
My desert running fun was without flaw. The supension soaked up all the big bumps with ease. I ran the same trail with my stock set-up and the new suspension really outperforms the stock. I could remember bouncing all over the place with stock sep-up. But with the new I can't remeber being jolted just once. Now I would like to remind you I dont do any rock crawling or any heavy off-roading. I have just a little ole prerunner. But I love to run fast through the trails outside the valley and up north. I've noticed that I had increased traction with the new set-up. I thing the wheels are better planted to the ground without all the wheel hop associated with off roading. Climbing was easy as well.
The Look; I like it. The coilovers give a nice look to the wheel well.
I'm still looking for a full leaf pack to give me 3'' of lift from stock. I'm not really happy with the add-a-leaf even though it performed well. I just need to raise my rear to give it a level look.
Hope this helps someone in making a decision.
Oh I decided on the Fabtech because Donahoe Racing Suspension lift would have ran me 2500 bucks. I save 1000 bucks with the Fabtech.
