;D First off, I'm NOT an overbearing political nut!!!! BUT, I do live in this country & do expect that my rights not be violated. A good buddy of mine mentioned the "USA PATRIOT act" to me today. I had NO idea this happened. I DO NOT want to start a political opinion poll/thread here. I just want people to take the time to read up on this "act" & educate themselves on what's going on. That is some scary shit!!!!!!! How the hell did they pass that? That goes against everything this country was founded on. Thanks for the link. It's nice to know stuff like that.

It goes even deeper than you probably know. I've worked for AOL/Timewarner, Worldcom, television networks, radio networks, Comcast, and other communications companies. I am very familiar with current communications laws, and let me tell you, Big Brother is always watching. The sad thing is, as consumers, we are bankrolling the total loss of privacy.

;D You're 100% right!!! The sad thing is that nobody seems to care. Most people go thru their daily lives totally oblivious to what's going on around them. They talk "freedom & rights" not realizing that, today, there's NO SUCH THING!! When people come home from work & find a note(MAYBE!!) on their door saying "the FBI was here" maybe they'll understand. Later...
