Man there are a couple guys I was wondering where they went. One of em was Ed. He seemed to be a mechanic and always posted very informative info. Guess they just lost interest in it... By the by did you have to go over to Iraq at all? I thought you were in the marines. A friend of mine in the gaurd just got back a couple weeks ago. Brought some good videos from the 101st airborne.

Ed was great, very knowledgable.
I also enjoyed debating with snowtoy, he certainly was opinionated.

Brought some good videos from the 101st airborne. no i didnt have to. i am in a non-deployable squadron. we are like a school for pilots and crew chiefs for the ch53e helicopter. my job is to provide and maintain the gear used to service the aircraft. at one point in time everyone of my friends left, and i felt very bad about no being able to go and be with them. plus it was boring to not have anyone around to hang out with. i was very fourtunate that everyone who went came back. one of my buddies lost his arm in an explosion on his boat happened. it was the same explosion that was on the news a while back. another one of my buddies(recon) came back a little disturbed about what he saw, and to this day wont talk about it. i still have a few friends in africa, and recently some have been going to hati. im sure they will for the most part come home safely, as our jobs dontr really place us right in the line of fire.

Well man thats great you are serving regardless of where it is. Without the support crews and teams our forces wouldn't be what they are today. Might not feel glorious at the time but they can't do their job if you don't do yours. Glad to hear your friends came back safe.
