So Asher (my sons name) and I decided to go take our first stroller ride in the back yard. Everything was fine till we encountered what could be described as a massive boulder. I was going to go around and take the bypass, but Asher grunted as if to say, "We can take it Pops!" I thought well maybe it is just gas, but I dont think so this time. So we threw the stroller in double low and hit it. We conquered the boulder but realized the IFS stroller could use some more articulation. But we conquered it nonetheless. My sons first 4x4'in adventure was a success (tear in eye). ok so its late and im trying to get the tyke to fall asleep while surfin the net and playing music... ;D

they love it offroad too... ...when my son was about 1 1/2 months old and we still had our 85 4Runner, we would just go and drive up thru the creek, crawlin over the rocks, im not sure but i think the wobblin back and forth over the rocks really soothed him man i miss my runner

WAY, WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS SNORKLE! ;D
Glad to see you're having a great time with the new baby mod. They realy do seem to like to go wheelin. Just remember that when they get older they can find their way home faster ;D LOL ;D Truthfully, I think they just grow to dam quick. I miss those days when my son was little, but I'm also glad to see him all grown up into a young adult.
BTW I agree with Carlos on the SAS. It would make that massive boulder like it was just a pebble on the sidewalk.
;DTAKE CARE and ENJOY THE LIT' GUY WHILE YOU CAN ;D

;D That's the wildest stroller I've seen yet! Guess I've been outta the baby game for a while ;D My "soon to be 13yo" asked if she could take my Runner out. Must be her "stroller". ;D I guess it's time to give driving lessons. Later...

I had a friend that would let his son drive off road in his truck. His son was 12. I guess he figured the earlier the better. He only did some easier stuff but it was a big deal to his kid.

We have rock crawling competitions that are put on by Cal Rocs (www.calrocs.com) and Rich’s (owner) youngest son (Jessie, I think) entered the competition last year at the age of 16. Now the first rule for their competitions is that you must be 18 or older to compete. They let him enter cuz he has been wheelin with his dad (AKA Big Rich) since he was 11 or 12 and rock carlwing since about the age of 14. I wish I could have started at that age. That would have been sweet. ;D

Haha, When I was about 12 my dad bought me a beater 81 toy 4x4 for about $200. It was half rusted away, interrior almost nonexistant, started with a screwdriver, missing a few windows, and was rewired by an electrician with house wireing but i loved it!!! We lived out of town of a private road that connected to some loggin roads. So at 12 I was driving all around them. I never used 4 wheel drive but I loved driving the thing ;D

I thought it was just a deep south thing. I started wheelin way before I could legally drive on road.
