hard to tell, but i think it could be an old rolls. no american manufacturer made a v-12 back then for autos.

What if it was a mobster car that got stashed in the woods after a heist? Might have some historical value. Or it might be a pile of rusted metal. Worth some investigating though.

It's a 30's or so packard I work with a older hot rodder it took him all of 15 seconds to give the answer ;D the grille and the v12 is how he figured it out and and if you can get the car out it is worth the effort the motor fenders dash ect ect even though they look rough but the less that off of it the better they are worth more that way to restorators do not dismantle it is it possible to get a flatbed to it?

Here's some more pictures of it: is it possible to get a flatbed to it? Yes, it would be very easy, it's right next to a smooth trail. I must admit that when I first saw it I was afraid to check it out because I thought batman was going to jump out at me.

If you can get a flatbed to it and have some place to put it I would get a HEMMINGS book/catalog first and check it out incase you are not familure with it hemmings it is a hot rod collectors/restorers mag friends of my dads make a little extra money in this working part time but it involves alot of running around

You could always use that big cast iron V-12 as a novelty paper weight....

it's worse than you think try 90 to 110 hp if your lucky and as for it being used as a paper weight that v12 is worth more than either of our rigs ;D concidering that most packards came with a v8 only the very rich could afford the v12 option have knowledge of something before you bash it or post on it

it's all good ;D it's that most people see old cars like this one and say thing's like pile of junk or whatever and have no idea how much money these go for just so folks have an idea an unfinished packard w/v12 start at around $150,000 sorry I took that a little hard but I have been around hot rods customs and quarter cars all my life and have been looking for that one find ;D and iglootheeskimo has found a good one

Whos property is it on? I would be DAMN sure that you know whos property before you go taking it... If its worth that kind of money... you could be in deep... doo-doo....

let clear that up an unfinished restoration is usuall in running order just not painted or detailed and only loose ends to tie up in this case the motor radiator fenders trim pieces are whats worth it the idea of not dismantling this car is so that the intrested party can see it as is and will usually find more parts that they were looking for this is not a simple task
