Hey all, This is my first post here for what will be my first toyota. I am trading my 98 z71 for an 88 toy P/U. Its upgrading if you ask me. But my "new" truck is 4x2 not 4x4 so am I in the wrong place?

YOU ARE NOT IN THE WRONG PLACE. I PERSONALLY THINK YOU UPGRADED WHEN YOU GOT YOUR TOYOTA EVEN IF IT'S A 4X2. IF YOU WANTED YOU COULD EASILY CONVERT YOUR TRUCK TO A 4X4!!! THIS IS A VERY GOOD SITE FOR INFO. THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE ON THIS SITE THAT ARE WILLING TO HELP WITH QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE ABOUT YOUR TRUCK. SO NEEDLESS TO SAY WELCOME AND ENJOY THE SITE LIKE I HAVE FOR SOME TIME NOW!

Well thats good to hear. Thanks guys! My toy is not exactly sotock though. Its pretty much a pre runner. I have race runner remote resevoir coilovers up front on a total chaos 4 inch uniball kit, the engine is caged and the rear is racerunner remote resevoirs on a bed cage all on eibach springs. I have a fiberglass front cap, and fiber bedsides. 4.56 gears and 22re and an interior cab cage. I run 33x10.50 BFG MT tires. I have a pre runner spare and bed stifiners. I have a tubed front end that includes a front light bar and a rear tube bumper as well. Soon to add a fuel cell and a a good head unit. Also I need a GPS and radio. I am attempting to build an alumium dash. I will try to post pix if i can. tell me what you think?
