This is Toy associated because it gets me there...
Anybody race Grand National Cross Country ATV races???
I'll be getting ready to run this spring.
North-east area, unless I grap a sponsor.
Really cool stuff. Kinda like a "hare-scramble", but a set track and less paperwork....(you know, if you know hare-scrambles).
I'd like to say it costs less than wheelin the Toy, but I'd be a liar. ($8500 into ATV, $3500 in to Toy)
I do enjoy the physical aspect though. That's the only thing missing from wheelin(at least from what I've done)
Then again, my Kaw Prairie 700 have a 500% power/weight ratio better than my truck.
(50 hp/#500 vs 100hp/#5000)
Plus, my son just turned 10yrs old. Time to do the 150% father/son racing thing (already do the 100%)
He's ride my machine well(with rediculus supervision), but he drives the Toy well too.(60'' tall on a std trans!)
He even knows the diff of speed vs power on obstacles!
Yes, this is all dangerous! But, these are the opportunities I had as a child. Get the family involved!
I am rambling, but I figured I'd avoid the "oh no" reply's.
