Today I was going through an intersection in my '87 Pickup and a lady in a nice new Cadillac thought it would be a good idea to make a left turn on a red. Despite my best attempt to avoid her she somehow managed to speed up and hit me. I just got back from the tow yard and found that my frame is bent like one to two inches. Engine runs fine but the damn frame is bent. It was seriously the most depressing sight I have ever seen. My friends say "Well at least your going to get some money for that old truck" so I decided to post the story here where people would at least understand.

if she can afford to buy a nice new cadillac then her insurance can afford to buy you a nice truck or at least to fix the frame of your old one. sorry for your loss

That sucks!!!
If the frame is bent then they'll more then likely total it, but you could still but it back from them for really cheap and build yourself a nice trail rig. Then with the money you get from her insurance you buy yourself a new DD.
Just thought I'd throw a little positive insight into your nightmare.

The truck is valued at $4500 I think. Probably is totaled. Is it possible and if so how much would it cost (on average) to fix the frame?

That would depend on the amount of damage and who would be fixing it. Could hit up a body shop to get a rough esimate.
