Got a 00 tundra, optima battery under the hood and im gonna put a second optima in the bed for my accessories (mostly fog lights) i found a couple ways to do it but they run some bucks, which i dont have... im gonna spend a couple hundred on it at least, but what would be the best way to hook it up??? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.....

Get a continuous duty solenoid rated for 100 Amps or so. About $20 last time I got one.
Connect it in series between the POS terminal on the aux batt and the POS term on the main batt.
Connect the coil to a fuse that is hot only when ign key is in the START/RUN position.
That way the batteries are isolated when the engine is off and connected together for starting and charging when the engine is running.
