Hey, I've got a bit of a newb question here , but if you'd help me out it'd be great. I'm looking to start working on my 1984 4runner...and I'm going to do it in stages. I was just wondering if 16x10 Mickey Thompson Classic Locks will fit on my runner and also the stock 31' tire until I upgrade them. It's also going to be a daily driver, so should I go with the Mickey Thompson Classic II's without the beadlocks instead...or does it matter? Thanks alot for your help.

Welcome 1st. 2nd, I'd make sure of your current tire size. 31's don't usually come in the 16" variety. Makes a whole bunch of difference. Later...

I was wondering if the 16x10 wheel would fit the 31' tires that I have now...until I upgrade to the 36's I want. Thanks

A 31" tire is typically 9" wide and mounted on a 6-7" wide wheel. 33's are usually 12" wide and mounted on a 8-10 wheel. So, I think the answer to your question is No. Plus the 16" diameter issue, your 31's are 16"?

I'm pretty sure my 31 is already on a 15x10 wheel. I'm not 100% sure...but for the most part. The 15x10 wheel is stock.

As I said before...it's a 31 inch tire...like I said. The complete number was 31x10.50R15LT.

No you can not put a 15" tire on a 16" rim.
