i have an 81 toy longbed and two transfer cases and i would like to lower my gears. if you know a place that is cheap or you have a used Adapter please answer. i live in CA, between sacramento and reno. If you have any pos or cons on dual tcases i would like to hear them. thanx

im looking for a place in California that i can get a dual tcase addapter for under $400.00 and i would also like some pics of a dual tcase, how to do it and the pros and cons or whats better. thanx

Have you checked out www.marlincrawler.com ? They have awesome adaptors and gear reduction kits. All i know is that there are pro's about doing this. A con would be if you like going too fast up rocks... They might be pricey but it is pretty much the going rate. If you put on the two cases that would help out a bunch. If you wanted to throw a low gear set in the second case then you would be crawlin big time. I think they have a gear reduction chart on that site as well to show you what your final drive ratios would be.
