Has anyone ever heard of swapping the chevy 2.8liter v6 in a 1980 or so toyota 4x4, im about to buy this truck on ebay and it has a chevy v6 and chevy transmission I was thinkin 4.3liter but when i saw the picture of it It looked smaller like the 2.8liter carbureted model, if it is does this thing produce good horsepower or should I bail on it?

I know the 2.8 with fuel injection does pretty good. Without it I'm not too sure of it's proformance.
