I was just wondering do 1982 toyota pickups have power steering? Because my freind's 80 doesnt have it. If not, what year did they have PS? Also, how much does it cost to get it? Thanks

i think that some do and some don't. i'm not a 100% on this but i just got an '82 long bed 4x4 that didn't have power steering. however a few weeks ago i purchased a complete unit off of ebay from an '82. i'll get it in a few days and will be able to give you more info on the install.

PS was an option, not std equipment. It came with upgrade packages such as SR5. My '83 Deluxe (Toyota name for the base level truck) long bed did however, and I had to look to find one that did.
