I have an 86 Toy truck 22r with a carb from an 85. It has very poor acceleration when it is cold, until driven for about 10 miles. I'm thinking it is a choke problem. The black choke cap is riveted onto the carb. Can these be adjusted and how? Thanks.

Yes, just drill out the $#@%^ rivets and put in some screws. They don't even have to be self tapping screws, it's just aluminum, so machines screws will cut threads.
Then just loosen them to adjust, then tighten them.
