Howdy, I did a few searches for it, but I couldn't find any real things. I came up with a few quick questions, but what did you find you can ask to tell if a guy is lying or not. Or any basic questions you can ask... So what questions should I ask when buying a used vehicle? heres what I came up with- - How many miles does it have on it?
- Does it have any rust?
- How is the interior?
- Are there any aftermarket accessories?
- What kind of engine is in it, a 22R or 22RE
- Is there any damage to the interior or exterior?
well you get the gist, any more?

;D Ask just enough ?'s to figure out if you're interested or not. IF you are, take a creeper/cardboard/blanket & the brightest flashlight you can find & go look & the truck. The first thing I look @ is the interior. Is the driver's seat worn, is the steering wheel worn(if it has a cover, take it off), are the pedal pads worn? You'll get a good idea about the truck from the Int. From there, look over every inch of the truck. Poke the frame w/a screwdriver, look for evidence of a wreck, check the fluids. If you're not dirty by the time you're done, you didn't look hard enough. And, if @ any point in time the seller looks/acts like they don't want you to do this, look harder!! Also, IMHO, you should never buy a vehicle unseen(E-bay...). If you are considering this, spend the $ & have a third party inpsection done before you make final payment. Later...

Unless you're in the southwest, look for RUST on/in the frame, and don't just look, get under and pound on every square inch with a small hammer. And don't even ASK, because any seller will say no.
