is there a differance between the two if so how do you tell ,i have a 84 toyota and should have a dubble chane timming cover but i only have a singel chane in it. maby some one changed it to the single prior to me owning it .i need to buy a new chane for it and would rather have the dubble.

What engine do you have? If you have a 22r or 22re, it's only a single chain.

wasnt the double chain only in the 20r? No, 22Rs till mid 84 I believe. There were 22R changes around 8/84 or so. |
