I have a 85' yota pickup that i am restoring completly. I am looking for a good place to buy replacement body panels (not worth banging and bondo old panels). Any one bought fenders off the internet? How'd it turn out? thanks

There are many sites for body panels on the net. Beware the ones that seem really inexpensive, they hit you with massive S&H charges that bring the price back up = to everyone else's.
Also, non-OEM panels aren't as good as OEM for fitment, but they are a heck of a lot cheaper.

The only problem I've ever seen with the non-OEM body parts was on a front fender. The problem was that the holes on it for the marker light clips were a little bigger then on the OEM fender. The clips wouldn't just snap in and stay like they're suppose to, but after getting the scews into them they were fine.
Just thought I would add in that I got this fender for $34 plus $36 S&H off ebay. It was still a good deal cuz the lowest price I did find was going through my brother-in-law's body shop at $108 or $75 from a wrecker for one that was not in perfect shape.

I bought the fenders for my 82 from Acklands Grainger and they got it from a company called Cross Canada. I got the 2 front fenders and the doors and the fenders bolted on perfectly and the doors just needed a little work but all the holes for where the windows bolt in and everything worked fine. I dont know if you can get them in the States. Im from Ontario. They were about $55 for each fender and 170 for each door. They came primed.

i forgot about the problem with the marker light clips...when i did mine i just wrapped some tape around them so they would stay in place..after that i never had any problems with them
