Window regulator

I just bought a window regulator off ebay for my 85 since the stock one broke. When I got it installed I found that my stock window cranks won't work. The tips of the gear where the window crank goes are kinda flat on top where my stock ones are pointed.
has anyone had this problem when replacing thiers? What should I do?

I replaced my regulator, and in the process messed up my stock crank. you can buy them at a part store for 5 bucks or so. cheap, and easy.
