4 basic ways, none particularly easy:
hammer them out burn them out drill them out air chisel them out
Why remove them at all?
Must people running dual shackles use the stock Chevy shackle (and therefore the bushing) connected to the stock Toy shackle.
I don't like dual shackles and used the stock Chevy shackle on a dropped hanger I made.

I'd go with the air chisel. I replaced mine with some energy suspension polyurathane bushings.

I used the stock Chevy's till they got too much weather in them and started to crack too much. I heated them up with a torch and then used the air hammer. They came out just fine.

Just wondering if you got any pics of your drop hanger. I'm always interrested in checking out and sometimes trying new things on my rig.

No, my digi-cam broke. A lot of people ask for pics of how I did something but I can't till I get a new one.
