are there any differences between a 83 and an 84 pickup?

The 83 has the same body styles as the 79-83 models and has the square headlights like an 82. 79-81 had round headlights. The 84 has the same as the 84-88. I think in 84 Toyota also came out with the X-tra cab. They both have the solid front axil.

What He said ;D Very helpful answer  NOT Another diff is the 84+ cabs are slightly longer inside the cab, providing slightly more leg room but less room in the engine bay for a V8 swap (the firewall was moved forward). |
