I know this could probably bring up some debaiting, and depends on what you do with your truck, but.. ima ask it anyways ;D I have heard that because of how light a toyota is, and their good clearance n stuff that a 35 is about all the rubber you will ever need on a solid axle Yota. I was wondering if anyone with 35's have had many problems, and if you have a larger tire what you think of how they perform.

For most people, especially if it's a DD, 33's are all you'll ever need. If it's a dedicated trail rig, you can't get'em big enough.

Yeah it really just depends on what kind of trails your going to hit. Some guys run 37's and larger cause they need them to get over larger obstacles. Some guys just need some 33's to get em to the trail and back home again. It all depends on what you want.

It also depends on how much money you are willing to put into your truck. With tires 35 and bigger you are going to brake more stuff which=more $$$$ or you can upgrade the parts so you brake fewer parts but that also cost $$$$.

;D Seeing that you're from Az., I'd have to say 35s are going to be on the small side. From what I know of the terrain. Guys I know in CO. won't consider less than a 35. Those rocks are a bitch on parts though! ;D Later...

Yeah, rocks aint fun, at least not with my current 31's, I tend to avoid them and just go for the limited mud and the less rocky trails and hill climbs I can find. They are also destroying my tires, lol, how I miss WA mud.
Anyway, I do realize 35's may be a little small for around here, but.. It is a daily driver, so any more than that and I fear Id be eating it too hard at the pump and tire store. So 35 seems to be the happy medium between road and off road. ;D
Anyway, thanks for the help, and keep on wheelin!
